Course Overview

Training Book
A comprehensive fully illustrated training book to supplement the Emergency First Aid at Work course is included in your training pack.
This is a Level 3 Course.
Certificate is valid for 3 Years.
This course lasts a minimum of 2 contact hours in the classroom.
All delegates must hold either the First Aid at Work or the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
The course Instructor is responsible for determining whether delegates pass or fail based on practical and theoretical assessment throughout the course, i.e. by observation and oral questioning. The Instructor will only award a pass if they believe that delegates have displayed the requisite understanding and competencies at the end of the course. There is a written test at the end of the session.

The HSE & Forestry commission requires a min of 2hrs contact training hours for this course,
Delegates must attend all sessions during each day to be eligible for successful assessment, which is done by continuous observation and questioning during the course. There is also a written test paper at the end of the course.
All employees who currently hold the 3 day FAW or the 1 day EFAW course who wish to become enhanced qualified First Aiders in the forestry/agriculture environment
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 3 (RQF) Forestry First Aid, which is valid for three years. This course is Regulated by Ofqual under their Regulated Quality Framework (RQF) and accredited by the FAA. This course follows the guidelines set by the Health & Safety Executive and Forestry Commission First Aid Policy.
