Course Overview

Basic First Aid taught in the community has proven invaluable. Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone. Early recognition, CPR and defibrillation can save lives. The number of defibrillators located in many villages and public places is increasing; however there are many people who tells us they do not have the knowledge nor the confidence to use them. Knowing how to use them saves precious minutes in the ‘Chain of Survival’ and can be instrumental in increasing survival rates. Dealing with first aid emergencies can be a daunting prospect for anyone, but after attending a Fat Panda Basic Life support course you will feel more confident in handling these situations.

We have a choice of 2 courses and both courses combine first aid theory and numerous practical skill sessions. Smaller groups allow time for more individual training as required, we make it interesting, enjoyable and fun, whilst building your confidence.

We use all the latest quality training equipment. Our resuscitation manikins are equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing both the trainer and trainee to check for correct depth and compression rates along with adequate lung expansion during the practical CPR sessions, which can be viewed on the big screen to help with debriefing.

We use the latest training aids to deliver the best quality training to you.
