This is a very basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 8 – 11yrs, but can suit children of any age. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies.

This is a very basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 8 – 11yrs, but can suit children of any age. The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies.
This course will show complete respect for the child’s age and ability. We aim to make it fun, but at the same time educational and practical, and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.
We use the latest training aids to deliver the best quality training to you.
We use all the latest quality training equipment. Our resuscitation manikins are equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing both the trainer and the children to check for correct depth, compression rates, along with adequate lung expansion. This information is viewed during the practical CPR sessions, which can be seen on the big screen to help the children.

A comprehensive fully illustrated training book to supplement the Mini Medics course is included in your training pack.

Certificate is valid for 3 Years.

The course Instructor is responsible for determining whether delegates pass or fail based on practical and oral assessment throughout the course, i.e. by observation and oral questioning. The Instructor will only award a pass if they believe that delegates have displayed the requisite understanding and competencies at the end of each session throughout the day.

Frequently Asked Questions
We offer ‘onsite’ training to schools.
We offer 1 hour courses for Nursery, Reception and years 1 & 2. The 3 hour course is aimed at years 3 – 6.
Children must attend all sessions during the course duration to receive their certificate.
Children at Nursery, Reception and years 1-6 who wish to learn First Aid.
Certificate of attendance is included with the Mini Medic book as a ‘cut-out’ for the child.
