Part-Time First Aid Trainer (Self-Employed Contractor)

Fat Panda First Aid Training is seeking a professional and engaging First Aid Trainer to join our growing team on a self-employed contractor basis.

This role is initially for two days per week, with the opportunity for additional work as demand increases. Full support and structured training will be provided to ensure you are confident delivering our courses to a high standard.

About the Role

As a First Aid Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering professional, engaging and compliant first aid training courses to a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver first aid training courses in line with our standards
Prepare training equipment as required
Maintain accurate course documentation
Represent Fat Panda First Aid Training professionally at all times
Ensure sessions are delivered in a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Participate in ongoing professional development and training updates

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who:

Has excellent communication skills
Is enthusiastic, approachable and professional
Works well independently and as part of a team
Is reliable and well organised
Is flexible with availability
Is based within approximately 20 miles of Banbury

You must have the ability to present yourself as a credible and professional trainer to a wide range of audiences.

Desirable (Not Essential)

Nursing or healthcare background
Previous teaching or training experience

Training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

Contractor Status

This role is offered on a self-employed contractor basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own tax and National Insurance contributions and must have the right to work in the UK.
